The Chai Society

Temple Emanu-El welcomes young adults, ages 21-39, both single and married, to our community.  We provide meaningful opportunities to explore Jewish tradition and enrich our Jewish experience by connecting young adults to an engaging, diverse, Reform Jewish community with inspiring social, educational, spiritual, and social justice programming.

Our monthly events include: Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, Young Adult study opportunities, and mitzvah projects.

The Chai Society also partners with other Young Adult groups across the Greater South Bay for large community wide programming such as Break the Fast, Light it Up, and Purim Ball.

October 16 at 5:00 PM: Sushi in the Sukkah
Join other young adults (ages 21-39) for a fun night of Sushi and a Movie! $10 per person gets you a fantastic movie, great conversation, and all the sushi you can eat! Babysitting will be available for those with young children (Free for Temple members/ $5 per child for non-Temple members) RSVP Here
